actually what is the purpose removal of this cdv ?

1. Direct clutch modulation possible
2. Lengthens clutch life significantly

I believe the CDV actually protects the transmission at the expense of the clutch, by slowing the linkup between the engine and tranny. So it's more to protect noobs from destroying the rest of the tranny by resulting in slower clutch linkage (more friction wear) if you try to drop the clutch at 6k RPM.

The removal of the CDV is to allow for a faster clutch takeup without the "delay".

so you dont want to protect your transmission?

Won't recommend for people who's not good in 'stick' driving. Removing the CDV also reduces clutch wears.

Some pixs to share from the spa session...

Steps include :

1. Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Professional
2. Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Regular
3. Swissvax "Blau-Weiss" - specially for BMW paints
4. Swissvax "Crystal Rocks" - added protection to hood, roof & trunk
5. Swissvax Autobahn - PTFE (teflon) coating protection for my BBS CHs

They actually cover up for unveiling when doing delivery!
