congrats bro for the //Monster.. is it your daily driver?

Yes bro, God Willing my company would not reject my ///M petrol claims.
I'm switching/downgrading from previous owner's Vpower Racing to Vpower97 to test my company's-claiming ground first.
If no rejects, will gradually switch to Vpower Racing again (God Willing!)

From the past few meet ups and postings I already know that Seewai is a busy man and got a busy week normally. Long drives are a bit hard to commit to.

Nevermind bro Seewai, I was only joking with the MMZ meet, hehe.

Maybe we 3 can meet in BU and stand there sampai Maghrib like last time hehe.
Bila..? Boleh join sekali ni..nak merasa naik juga, passenger also can..haha

Missed out the operation in progress part, went to answer lengthy phone call! When I return, she's already had a giant "handyplast" on, do take note the foreman has already started to clean-up the inner part in preparation for tinting (explained at the end of post)

This is what makes me want to be one of their returning customers, translation below picture:

Notice: ALL employees are not allowed to bring any laptop computers, iPAD, game consoles like PSP to work place. (But they didn't say what's the penalty lah)

to be continued at part II ... windshield tinting (removed in Puspakom) in the same shop since I like their workmanship and attitude!

Oops, I forgot I was taking an afternoon siesta while they're doing the windshield tinting!! Anyway it is "DrTint 90" which is manufactured by Ray Tech and is said to repel 90% heat and has 60% visibility. Complimentarily he did tinting for rear right door triangle as there are signs of peeling and 2 evident scratch mark.

Damage:

"Star" repair" - RM60 - 1-year warranty
Windshield tint - RM380 - 5-year warranty
Triangle tint - FOC
Time spent: approx 3 hours
Will I Recommend: Yes

congrats bro for the new fantastic machine...you're lucky enough to get it while most of us are just dreaming to own it....:top::top:

..that is some mean machine maaan..very very nice..please, update pictures about that windshield fixing results..im interested to see, how it all looks after process..

Well as you all know having a cracked rear view mirror is kinda risky as its poisonous and corrosive electrochromatic material could harm the car interior when it leaks.

After Dr Cermin visit, I could afford an hour more so I went to Optimum where Jason gracefully loaned me a standard E39 rear view mirror. Now I could drive without worry.

When I mentioned about the ride handling with her current Eibach Sportline lowering kit, he recommends to reduce or completely remove the spring damper. Thus I let him cut off partial of the front spring dampers. I'll drive around and see if it improves the handling. Worst case is revert back to original spring.

The damper (yellow), before being cut off a bit

I was too excited to leave the place after the fix and tint, I'll take a shot of the repair result soon. Thanks for the heads-up.

Anyway it's not how it looks and feels that matters the most, more importantly the "star" will be grow/enlarge to become a bigger star and eventually the windshield has to be replaced. The chemical prevent this "expansion" from happening.

Congrats Bro Seewai!!! Hope u will enjoy every moment of ur newly acquired monster!!:)

Congrats on the M5 bro :top:

Can't wait for more pics and vids of the beast
