Hi,Anyone has any suggestion on missing wheel lock? I don't mind getting rid of the current one and replace with a new set. it's worrying not having the wheel lock in the car while driving. don't know when I'll need to use it... Also, any suggestion on where to get a new set of BMW wheel locks? Thanks.

Can get from the BMW parts dealers... RM150 a set when I bought them 2 years ago. Ori BMW wheel lock lugs.

I believe you can purchase the individual wheel lock nut from Auto Bavaria. You do not need to purchase the entire new set again. Give AB a call and check. Your wheel lock nut will have a code number on it so check wat code you are using and buy back the same code wheel nut. This code you can find inprinted on your wheel lock nut (both on the bolt and nut). Can't remember the cost but it should be around $25 - 35 per piece if I remember correctly.

ehoe,

thanks for the suggestion. cna't find the code on the lock lug though. called AB just now and they suggested me to drive my car there for them to 'measure'. it's by size? they did not mention anything abt code. will be going to AB in Glenmarie tomorrow morning.

I believe the code for the lock bolt is on the inner end of the bolt so that means you have to remove the bolt to see it. Same goes for the lock nut, the code is on the inner end. See the attached pic for a clearer view. Anyway just bring your car into AB, they will be able to tell you which lock nut code you are using.

Ehoe,

thanks for the info. yeah, will bring it in to AB to have them check it out.

Ehoe,

got the lock lug from AB at Glenmarie today. was lucky that they had it in stock. thanks again.

RM21.74 . Maybe the AB plastic bag cost a bit. :) but seriously, i'd rather get it than to be stranded on the side of the road with flat tire and can't take my wheel out to change to spare.
