I noticed that whenever I park my car on a slope, I always have difficulties with my central locking/alarm system. But when parked on flat land, it is all OK. For the better of me, I can't seem to figure out why this is the case, why the central locking/alarm system is affected in this way. Appreciate your help....

bro thats a strange symptom man ....

i bet u better park ya car at a slope and walk in the nearest ma-piu shop and buy ya car number .... sure kena kaw kaw one ... :D

Loose connection somewhere? If your car is on a slope, there is no connection?

Does your alarm system have that shock/"level" sensor???? Could be kaput?

Don't know, just my 2 cents...

Stock standard CKD E36 and E46 does not comes fitted with level sensor unless retrofitted.

In my case the E36 Mamba was retro fitted with level sensor at Cobra. I was made to understand that it is not the mecury trpe, but rather a "gyro" type of sensor.

The E46 had different type of level sensor... oso retrofitted.

But, I fail to understand the meaning of
always have difficulties with my central locking/alarm system.

Izzit kenot engage when on the slope, of engage but got sound?

you mentioned "mercury" or "gyro" type sensors.... these are fitted to detect slight movemets when the car is parked stationary, isn't it?..... but for my case, I just can't seem to engage/disengage the central locking system-wor. So how-lar, Latuk :dunno:

C-segi..

So, Ur car got alarm fitted (or retrofitted) or not? - If it is retrofitted, it will still use the same buttons as the central locking (if the alarm is OEM Cobra Mamba).

I suggest U call Bibi in Cobra TTDI and make appointment, for free checkup... if the car is fitted (retro) with Cobra alarm).

03 - 7728 8422, i think.
:D
