Am getting around 650 km till bingo. mostly city driving in comfort mode. changed to BHP Ron 95 recently and can feel a difference in acceleration. Mileage yet to see.

Another 750km to go, so no spirited drive mostly on comfort n sometimes sport. Avenge 10.1L/100km on the journey computer city drive

Forgot to add. Filling her up with Ron95. Previously was using Ron97 on my old 6 cylinders e46 for 6 years before I switched to Ron 95 for last few months before selling it. There was a small difference, not unless are pushing it. Is it worth the extra $$$ not a whole lot

bhp petrol gives me more mileage.

i tried 4 different brands (only 4 because of convenience), each with 4 full tank cycles

1) BHP petrol. 703km (avg)
2) Shell (685km)
3) Caltex (677km)
4) Petronas (667km)

I'd say driving conditions are 95% the same. 45kms a day. same road, same traffic conditions.

i will continue to run the same cycles again. with all four petrol. what you'd notice is that 95% of the time, all petrol are the same.

Bro, how do you get so high mileage per tank? I am struggling to get above 550km per tank. Is it you drive highway only?

That's is cheating. Or maybe Singaporean may do it for other reason.

Average 750km per tank.

I get abt 850km on 50/50 city and highway driving. I always fill up abt at 750km and obc show another 80 to 100 km to go. My obc average show 7.1l/100 km which is roughly 845km, and quite accurate. if I drive more in city then I get below 800. On 100% highway I can get 950 to 1000 km. All this on moderately aggresive driving. Average highway speed abt 150 to 170. I only go to max 180

That's the greatest advantage of a modern Diesel engine. Superb mileage.

I reckon that's the reason why European car manufacturers are not so keen in hybrid cars as you can equivalent if not better mileage from turbo charged Diesel engines. Turbo charging technology is the European answer to the ever rising oil prices.

You get very good mileage from your fuel. Anyway, what's the remaining mileage (KM) that shows on your dashboard before each refill? Keep in mind not to keep your fuel level too low as it may damage your engine (that's according to the car's manual). Usually, I would refill when my fuel gauge reaches the one quarter mark.

i usually fill up after the Fuel Warning sign appear for awhile. i pour around 52 litres (on average).

my daily commute is 90% highway. following speed limit (and occasionally "a bit above")

It should be ok as long as you don't do aggressive driving when the fuel warning sign come up. This is to prevent fuel starvation to engine.
