I'm finishing my second tankful of petrol(BHP),usually on Eco Pro/Comfort mode (city driving) and consider myself as rather light footed but manage only about 510-520km,anyone getting a better mileage from their 320?

that sounds about the same mileage i'm getting as well. though i've never tried running the car until the refuel reminder comes up.

i got about 480km before the fuel reserve notification popped up with about 80km to go on petronas 95.. light footed most of the time and in KL city traffic 80% of the time.. reaching the 1000km mark soon.. i've filled her up with ron 97 and will soon drive it like how i really drive :p

i thought running in the engine is supposed to be up to 2000 km's and not 1,000km's

Yup.. manual says 2k km.. too bad i dont have the patience to wait that long..

After the 2000km ( as per manual ) or in your case 1000km ( :) ) , are you thinking of doing an oil change ? I have clocked just about 750km in a week of usage and am thinking of doing an oil change at 2000km?

i have a f30 328 and i have NOT got 6+ litre per 100km... the best i have seen so far is abou 9+ litre per 100km...
Will need to check the journey computer ( it was set on resetting automatically and so the total mileage was reset for every trip(4 hrs spacing ) ) to record how much i actually get per tank....

On the 328 i can't get anything better than 12l/100km
today my average was 22l/100km:eek:
hahaha...

328 full tank milage half that of the 320d , fuel bill going from rm400 to >rm1000

aiyoyo...

Also wondering any difference between ron97 vs ron95 for 320/28i ?
is the engine tuned for higher octane ? if not waste $$ only....

probably not.. would just drive it like i did on my previous e90s and have the service indicator come up ~8k km..

yup curious as well.. im on 97 right now and will see how that turns out..

If use Shell 95, ECO PRO, regular drive not extremely light footed or heavy... able to get roughly 560km - 540km before oil indicator

Guys, filling up my 3rd tank for 320i. Shell 95. Averagely get 500km just before the oil indicator. From the indicator shows, I can still go roundly 80km. I assume it can last up to 550km max? Refill once indicator alert. Never try on other petrol still. Coz using company shell card. Will others petrol perform better mileage? Err...:smokin:

thats the way to enjoy a 245 HP beast !!!
i dont really cx what is the mileage ... when the empty light lights up just refuel and go bro's

looking for good mileage...328 is not the car, if u floor it all the time u wont even get 480km for a full tank.
buy a diesel or a prius if u want good mileage ...
just my 2 cents ..

on my 100k n42, I am averaging around 230-290km per RM60 (31.58km) of fuel. This is using Primax 95.

I never pump full as a heavy car will have effect on my consumption considering mine is only 2.0 - 4 pot :p

Bro, your full tank from "light up" is about RM100 therefore based on your average you only get around RM0.24c per km or 416km per fill.
