Matte Black Wheel Maintanence

Just got a set for the car. Anyone have any tips or products that can be applied to the wheels protect the paint etc...Cheers,adrian.

I had this opportunity to preps some super exotics with matte paint & sticker....in a car show
lots of curious people so much so getting the fingers print off from a matte paint is almost impossible to remove

wax is a def no no, polish no no...so how how

my buddy almost fainted while wiping this audi TT...even MF cant help

till I came opti clean and OOS it

the problem with show Cars is....lot of butt on your hood & lots of finger print on the paint....i guess everyone and all people like to feel....like elton john sings "can u feel the love to night"

I had to Detail 12 rides in the next 3 hours all alone

but the results

Well, I was also going through your posts and I found that you have mentioned that you had to detail rides in next 3 hours, all alone ! I just wonder how would you have done it and then the public getting so excited to touch the paint with their fingers. How did you managed all these and that also alone ? If I were in your place I would have ran away.

I was suppose to detail a E34 monster for my buddy but ended up opening a can of worms!!!!!! How can u resist after seeing the Porsche lambroghini R8...bla bla bla! Eventually stayed late till we got it done
And along the journey to HIN expo ....it rain

Ultimately after my Nissan Clinic , I rush there to see our rides.......although it is pretty good shape.....but no no for a car show

With a slipped disc, tennis elbow and letharginess ...........I opti clean all the cars and alien wax ! As for the Matt painted or sticker paint rides Is impossible to removed the fingers prints & keeping it pristine
Ta da opti seal my hero makes it effortlessly great and so easy now to wipe off with MF and opti clean the sweat out

It was dead tiring but fun and fulfilling

Must do one of these crazy things in lives once a while

Certainly a person should at least do some crazy work in his life for once. I also agree that no one can wait after seeing a Lamborghini in front of him. But you really won't believe that when I came to know that you had to detail some 12 cars in 3 hours, I was like how to catch my breathing. But I also forgot that its KC out there and yes you proved me right with your reply. But I also wonder that even after having so much of pain, why did you made an attempt to detail all the 12 cars alone ? I am quite sure that the pain which you would have had felt after you ended your work, would have been terrible.

Although black and chrome wheels are absolutely durable, they indeed need constant care and maintenance. To protect its mirror shine, it is always better to get rid of the unavoidable dirt, grime, and grease at least once monthly. You can buy professional chrome polish with a polishing cloth as part of regular maintenance. After which, you can dry the wheels carefully with a soft cloth to ensure that no water spots sprout up on them later. Avoid using general cleaners as they can contain chemicals or acids that damage the chrome look by making it dull and dim!
