I started a new thread on the classifieds because from the "president's" point of view its a commercial posting.

So I figured out a way by saying I have extra oils which I have bought for my car and I am deciding to sell the oils which I have no use of. I was just hoping with that statement I wont be breaking any of the forum's rules or offend our president here. I did not mock anyone's inteligence by changing the way of posting.

Even that, my post was deleted. So tell me, whats fair compared to you guys with your silly and childish statements from end of page 4 and 5? I thought we were supposed to stick to our topics instead of BS postings.

So do you think the president is really doing his job or just mocking ppl with his powers and trying to ruin a sale which benefits the M forummers here?

If you would prefer your Castrol Edge by all means stick to it. Anyway, why my post was not deleted before and only after debate started? You cant just go around deleting posts which you feel threaten. Whats a forum with no freedom of speech? Hope Im no offending anyone with my post here.

Here we go again, big words but just hot air.

First of all, please stop mocking us. Just because you creatively reworded your posting in the classified section does not mean you are in compliance of our forum's rules and regulation. Again I repeat myself, the onus is on you to prove us wrong and your previous postings on this forum have strongly indicated you are in the automotive parts business.

We have our approved parts supplier in this club and as such we only allow commercial posting from them. I am just protecting the club's interest as the official members will know better than someone like you that have no inkling on how the forum and club are managed.

Again your post in the classifies section was deleted because of obvious reason and not that I find it threatening. I have engaged in a constructive manner with you on this thread with regards to the oil difference between tws and edge sport of which you seemed to conveniently ignore.

Last but not least, if you can't abide by the rules in this foru
then this is not the place for you.

when u are debating constructively here, it is bound to happen that a background check is carried out on your nick so 'see' or understand who are you based on your postings...this is a process to know a forummer...happens that all u posts here are mostly for sale topics...this raises question and thus all your activity is now monitored....as simple as that...no one including the president is trying to mock you...

For the Castrol Edge 0W40 is what they use in colder climate countries.

What happened to those bearings were claimed caused by cold starts which is below zero celcius.
With that, they prefer using the Castrol Edge 0W40 instead.

Yes. Castrol Edge Sport is recommended only if you cant get hold of the TWS.

There are debates everywhere. Honestly I am not promoting any of my sales in this forum. I post what is genuine and I think my prices are pretty decent and it benefits the forummers here.

As for you oil price, the suggested retail price is RM100. However, many shops sell it for around the price you are selling and personally I can get it below that, more so if you have a long relationship with the shop.

I didnt say oil temp isnt important but I would pay more attention to oil pressure is because, for me oil press shows the health of my engine rather than an oil temp. If you know your car well, you should know the rough figure of oil pressure on every load and rpm.

This is how I see it. Lets say I use brand X, a fully syn grade maybe a 5W40. Maybe 2-3laps of Sepang, oil temp maybe at 90-100C. Oil press at 8bar at 5000 heading to 8000rpms. At the next 4-5laps later, my oil temp shows 95-104C and when i push my car from 5000 to 8000rpms again, oil press might have gone down to maybe at 6.5-7bar. With this reading I can see that the oil is starting to dilute and I know my engine will fail if I would to continue my runs. With the reading I can see that I would need a higher viscosity oil and an oil that is able to hold its viscosity level at the same time.

I cant debate much on the oil pressure between the two oils even Castrol dont have the data for it, but I can assure you that the two oils hold its viscosity and temp differently. Temperature is important to prevent breakdown of the oil, the pressure is equally important because it governs the rate at which the fluid is flowing through the engine.

This might not be totally right for you guys but I guess from what I experienced oil temp really works for me . I would go for oils that suits me or that are recommended. Not be economical and hope for its best.
