good hobby if you have the time and money for it... this forum is for discussion but members can only guess what your problems are... loss of power can be due to many things... coils is one thing that have just been mentioned by Iceman which I don't see earlier...

also you mention "adjuster" which jarance and me don't know...

Boss, he have reply what the adjuster at post #16. - See item 8.. For M54 it is also known as DISA.

Lost of power can be many things, ICV, ignition coils, spark plugs, AFM/MAF, air leaks, fuel filter, fuel pump etc etc...even a minor crack in one of the air hoses can cause such a reaction.
