Hi guys, I was just wondering if its ok to leave my e46 idle for a week when I am away on a long holiday. Would the battery get drained within a week or does it take longer?Appreciate your comments on this.rgdsChief

Aiyo.....should be no problems lar. My E36 leave for 10 days also no problem. First flick of the wrist already engine start. But also depends on car condition and your car battery B)

Chief,

Just a suggestion, why don't you just disconnect one of the battery cables (if alarm and central locking is not that of a concern). At least you'll be sure that the battery was never used or drained out.

1 week sure no problem but if the bat flat out in 1 week for sure it is time to change, 2 weeks also ok without starting the car if the bat condition is ok.
