Hope this will help.It would be better to upgrade to CIC instead of CCC (outdated). The US guys have done it. Total cost is around 2500 euro with BMW OEM parts. The expert is from Poland. His name is Patrys.I do not know whether they will be able to do it for Malaysian. He can code car remotely from poland for US guys.A lot of people has used his services. Google CIC retrofit.I did not do it cause I will be selling my E60 (CKD) very soon.http://forums.5series.net/topic/99657-cic-navigation-retrofit-and-more/http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/m5-e60-group-buy-forum-sponsor-discussion-offerings/161923-cic-navigation-retrofit-group-buy.html#post1875616http://www.bimmerretrofit.com/I am not related to this people in anyway.

I know him, called him a few month back and total for upgrading M-ASK to CIC would be around RM20k I think, and you need to provide all the parts.

You can buy a used CIC and get it programmed to work with your car. The cost and effort is not cheap though (I've explored this earlier) so I might as well stick to the CCC until I upgrade to a better car in the future.

What about http://www.bimmerretrofit.com/ ?

Prices per listed on their WEB site 31-jan-2012
The list price for the CIC parts for E60 is $1,599.00CAD, this is inclusive of coding.
Voice Command Activation + Video in motion is $439 CAD. ie Via hack interface card, not BMW Activation Code.
CIC faceplate ie. trim piece is $75 CAD.
They do mention they provide remote conding service which cost $140CAD. approx RM448
ie. Item "Retrofit Coding Interface Security Deposit"

That works out to be $2253 CAD approx RM7210 (ie. RM3.2 per CAD)
Shipping should not be more than $500 CAD. approx RM1600

So total should be RM8810.

The issue here is coding.
Whether they will do it remotely to Malaysia or not ?

I dont see why not.

See Item "Retrofit Coding Interface Security Deposit" for remote coding detail.

You only need a notebook
install coding software (ie. BMW NCSExpert)
install remote control software
internet connection ie. a fast one , unifi to allow them to take control of
your notebook and perform coding.

There is no different for them to connect to US customer and to connect to Malaysia customer.
It is World Wide Web !!!! Just a big Network.

Comparing the cost with the price we pay for out car (Ai yo yo) It is worth exploring.

FYI , if you are IT savvy and dare , you can code it yourself.
Applies to any Exx series owner bit Fxx series owner.

There are tons of instruction in US forums

Note:
Coding does not mean you need to do progamming in traditional sense (I am a software developer)
Coding means use BMW tools (NCSExpert) to change settings of various computer (module) in our car.
ie. Like change settings of Windows , Office software.
Hey, our UDM is full of specilized computer connected by specialized (CAN or MOST) network.
THAT IS WHY , DO NOT SEND YOUR CAR TO FOREMAN UNDER POKOK !!!

Once you master NCSExpert, you can do a lot of stuff like retrofitting LCI tailights without
the so call rip off interface card (you must have Light Module version 2 (LM2) to do this)

As I mentioned, I am not in anyway connected to this people.
Just to provide info for fellow forumers that has the TIME and COURAGE to explore and DIY.
TIME is what i lack. :banghead:

Cheers. :1:

FYI,

CAN is for car that run M-ASK ( no navigation , smaller screen )
MOST is for car that run Full idrive ( bigger screen )

while can have MOST programming must use MOST for e60 2005/06 above . that you need OPS1 head,
