Dear AllI am baffled today when I went to over to AB service center at about 1130am for the above. One service advisor quoted me RM1900 ie RM1500 for the iPod interface and RM400 for installation into my BMW 525i. Thinking that AB is BMW main reseller and should be ethical, I left my car there for the installation. The advisor told me I will have to leave my car there for until tmrw after lunch to have the installation and programming of the iDrive software done.I was shocked later when I found out from my friend who also owns a BMW 525i but installed the interface at RM1500 in Sapura Auto. I then checked with AB HQ in Glenmarie and one service advisor told me the iPod interface price is RM1401 and the installation cost is RM198, hence total up to RM1599. The installation should complete in a day if I send my car in in the morning.I felt cheated having bought my car from AB and I thought AB should be professional and should not take advantage of it clients. Have anyone of you faced this before? What should I do? Should I forward my complaint to BMW itself to teach AB a lesson?Your feedback is much appreciated.RegardsWKW
