Is not because of EWS.EWS is only for starting your engine, only car alarm is define which remote you can use. If you car using IR remote then you might not able to change to diamond shape key.

as far as i know, all EWS can use diamond shape
when i have a real infra red remote converted to diamond, i will let u know

Your key is IR remote key then i also not able to find this key for you.
