How much can we fetch?

Hi all, just wondering how much can a 330ci cabriolet 99/01 sell for? Im just asking cos my uncle wants to sell his. Dont have much particulars except for the fact that, its in good condition, silver and comes with a hard top(was told this cost alot) :huh: Any ideas?

RM180k-220k very vague i know but so is your description, it all depends on specs and mileage....etc etc. the hardtop is actually quite expensive so that does help fetch a good price for the car.

For reference i was quoted 200k in april for 2nd hand 330ci cab yr 2002 UK specs fully loaded... H/kardon s/system, sat nav, 18 inch rims... but no hardtop. It was very low mileage some vip letting go cheap it was at Ming Heng i would've gotten it but i was too late somebody beat me to the d'payment...sigh**... regrets..if only i was a bit faster in making up my mind

330CI production date started from 2000....hardtop costs RM 25k...perhaps ur uncle's car been backdated??? or issit a coupe???

btw, for yr 2000 expect nothing below RM 210k..maybe even more for higher specs(TV module,xenons, and the hardtop)...my 2 cents

Wasn't there a 330 for production 12/1999? Europe only? I cant find the site where i read that, it was obscure cause many websites about e46 were american so they always refer launch of 330's as 2001 (US yes but europe had it earlier)

Correct me if i am wrong regarding above info,

Another note with the launch of the e92, 3 series coupe would not be called ci's anymore so... that would make the 330ci one of a kind in the history of BMW's 3 series. no? rubbish? nonsense rambling?

1999 - The E46 coupe was launched as 318, 323, 328
2000 Sept onwards - 323 became 325, 328 became 330..... so cannot understand how this car is a 1999 330...... it could be a 2000 330....
2001 onwards - the mighty M3 released
2002 onward - minor interior revisions - larger tv screen
2003 Sept - the facelift coupe was launched
2006 Sept - new E92 hits the streets

about 200 to 220k..... 2000 330ci coupe would be going for about 170k to 180k (after negotiation) so a cab is normally about 20% more so should be about 220k esp if got hardtop......

one point to note is that when selling the car and advertising the hardtop as a desirable extra..... u would probably get alot of guys knocking it down by saying that the hardtop is not worth it as they will not be using it often or got no place to store it..... just remind them how much it costs to replace a scratched or torn softtop......
