How is this for fuel efficiency?

I was driving to my hometown just now and got back. Not particularly rushing, so I took a leisurely drive. On return to KL, I have to fill her up. This is what I get.Rgds,ErestP/S: Sorry for the blur image. Took with my lousy Treo.

mine from pg to kl at 120kmh constant fc about 8l/100km

I wasn't paying much attention to the speed but from KL to Mcca it took me about 1 hour and 10 minutes, plus minus.

So the maths goes;
About 120km/ 70 minutes = 1.714286km per minute
1.714286km/min x 60 mins = 102.8571km/hour.

I think so kua?

i get 7.8L/100km on my Myvi all the time. hehe..

my E90 320 get about 800kms / tank full

My 320i normally refill at quarter tank balance and it cost me around RM120 for about 400km, that works out to be about 11.1L/100km. I have seen 9L/100km on highway commuting which of course average speed above 120kph la..

Yet, my HH kaki commented that I didn't drove her hard enough..

whoa...I am really embarrassed now...my 325i is doing 7.5km/l, on town driving(to KLCC)

and also 7.5km/l on hway(ahem......:wink

My E90 320i just clocked 400km on Saturday (highway) and I realised at 150kph, FC is a little above 8L/100km but if I do a boring 130kph, FC is below 8L/100km... and please don't ask me to try 90kph.. I might doze off.. ....but I think no problem in getting below 7L/100km :TOP:

Many of our E90 325i friend are doing mix route commuting FC at about 13L/100kph, which is about the same as wllchan's 7.5km/l or 13.3L/100km.

Did another round back to malacca and again this is what i get.

Time 18.47
It was about 30.5 C

I have just filled her up Gear position at "P"
and finally it says 1021 km left in the tank.

dude...i think we have tis thread discussed previously if u will to spend ur times n search over from this forum. anyway mine is 525i and i only go for V-Power. cost me RM190++ for evey full tank and it last me for 520km++ (sub urban + town drive). ever liter of fuel can go for 8.9km as show in the i-drive sys. if in highway...i can easily touch 700km++ per full tank. hope it help u wit the info u need

When I go back to KL from SG, travelling at 110-120km/h, I can consistently get >18km/l with my 520i. If I put it into the sport's mode, then it would drop to 16.xkm/l.

But when I drive around town, yaks... Driving in city traffics, 8-9km/l depending on how I drive.
