how do u interpret oil reading?

hi guysstoopid question arrr...:stupid:the readout on my obm for oil change says 15000km. does it mean i have another 15km to go before the oil change, which means that the readout will become progressively less as i drive OR oil change due when odometer hits 15km?? My odo is already pass 15km. thanks

Let me guess, u have about 10k km clocked by now?

That's mileage till service.. it's counting down. An alarm will trigger when the counter hit below 2k km to give u time to arrange to service and SC will oblige under BSRI, if u still qualify.

I just did mine and the counter starts all over again... from 32k km..

32km is absolutely a NO NO!! and i thought BMW already decided recently that 10k is the mileage for BSRI? I am paying for my own intermediate oil change (without notifying bmw) every 10k. really confusing la. Can someone ONCE AND FOR ALL CONFIRM what is the official service interval mileage under BSRI?

Mine was set at 20k km...done my service few days ago in Ingress Auto.
