sent your car to the mech already-ar? Hmm, it's good to hear what caused the problem
Hopefully this evening.

My office mate have the same problem b4 but not a BMW. When she turn right, it will honk. It turn out that the contact problem at the steering itself.

when it turn and it horn, then your clearance is not enough. You can increase the clearance with a torx key. Turn the steering until it start to horn (with ignition to ON position). When it start to horn, turn off the ignition and turn anti clockwise to loosen the screw behind the steering wheel. Turn on the ignition and check whether it still horn. it it does loosen the screw a bit more.

After you have got the correct clearance, try the other side of the steering wheel.
:eek:k:

Yeeeee haaaaaa! My horn is repaired. :yahoo: :yahoo:

Ozone and Bai Yee were on the right track. Had to adjust the 3 screws carefully to get the correct clearance and maintain the sensitivity of the horn buttons. Later found out the return spring for one the buttons is weak. The mechanic had to dismantle the steering wheel and adjust the spring a little. Back to normal now. FOC!
