i remember someone posted and tried placing and touching beemer key under the chin and press open which can enhance the distance of the key sensor to open the door / boot... hey it works . i tried from a distance which is quite far say.....about roughly 40meters. ueap can ipen door and roll down all the windows. :top:

yes, believe it or not it works. my wife was laughing at me when I told her this, but now she even do it when she forgot to lock the car when she already inside the house

Saw this tip about bmw key in e46 fanatics or bimmerforum ... very odd but it actually works ... so here goes:-

My bmw key when press to lock or unlock only works around 10-15 feet. To increase the range put the metal part of the key to your chin Shocked trust me my brothers and sisters it actually works. In an open space d furthest i got was aroun 40-50 feet result may vary. Apparently when putting against d chin our body becomes an extended antenna lol. Do try and post ur result here. Works very well in an open space in a car park building not so good.
