Where can i go to get someone scan my car alarm system to find out its problem ?

There's two vibrations sensors on each door pillar. In E46 after aging, mine acting up after 8 years. AB couldn't diagnose why my alarm tripped after locked with remote. Initially thought siren battery but alarm sound very strong. They tend recommended to send to Cobra in Taman Tun. There sifu Ah Hwa diagnosed the vibration sensor culprit. I DC'ed them cheaper option.than to replace both....quite common these when old becomes ultra sensitive.

Thanks to anak Sarawak and wing zee who did the scan for me yesterday. Took it to cobra ttdi and they disabled the motion sensors for me foc ;) Ah Hwa there is a very nice man

The scan says its the tilt sensor. Ah Hwa said the alarm output from the tilt sensor and motion sensors are the same. He is very sure it's te motion sensor

I think its should be solved. For the first time in 3 years I can use my remote control :)

I have this problem with my alarm goes out for no apparent reason, unplug the hood switch sensor and all are ok now

Yeah. I was actually told to unplug the batt and plug it again but since it was due for replacement, I just replaced it and voila! :)

All,
Just to ask 1 thing....My alarm sounds like chick when it goes off.....is the siren faulty? Others all working like locking system...just the sound.
Questions:
a) Is it the siren?
b) When can I get it repaired?

Thanks.
