Guys,Few days back, i bro drove my car for his friends wedding in cheras. He parked the car, locked it and went for the function. About 1/2 hr later he came back and try to open the door but the alarm is not working. And also his mobile (I-Phone) not working with error message 'insert SIM'. Then my bro's friend who was around the parking told him that 2 african guys was looking around the car and was doing something with their laptop. After failed trying to open the door with alarm couple of times, he gave up and open the door manually and drove the car back home. Once at home, the car alarm and the mobile phone is working fine. Weird uh..My question is do anyone came accross this scenario. Can someone explain what really happen? Also I remember reading an email about car alarm being malfunction because of some kind of software/device used by criminals. Please advise.........

Sounds like they are using a frequency detector/signal jammer.
