With the elections coming soon. I am rather surprised that a lot of people I know have not registered to vote. So have you guys registered to do your patriotic duty and vote ? Note: Please do not start a govern vs anti-govern war here. After all why fight, go vote lah. :top:

most ppl I met who haven't registered do not have the faith in voting. rests are just plain lazy...

so when is the erection date?

Have been voting for the last 30 years. yes, every votes count.

No idea on the date yet, whenever it is, must be held by between now and 2009. Speculation going round it will probably be March 2008.

Will my vote be counted? I have doubts about it for the longest time! Hence, didn't bother to register at all.

People tell me its my right to vote. That point would be take wisely if the democratic system was fair here.

well, the idea is when you vote, the less number of ghosts they can substitute you with. but then, they have started playing around with your voting eligibility. don't be surprised when you go to the voting place, you're told that you're in wrong kawasan, unregistered, already dead, etc. but of course, just vote :) knowing that something bad is happening around you isn't much the same as experiencing it yourself...

WE have achieved Independence for 50 years and yet many of us have been taking things for granted, since more than half of this country's population is born after Independence.

Many people in various countries are fighting for a chance TO VOTE and yet we Malaysians are not bothered and appreciate the right to vote. This is the least a citizen can do for the country, in support of democracy. Doesn't matter which party you vote, OR if your candidate wins or lose.

If everyone gives up hope, then there is definitely NO HOPE.

Well said Bundy. Yes I have registered and will fullfill my deed as a citizen of this country. Remember every vote counts and if you really want democracy to prevail here in our beloved homeland, then register and vote.

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE !!!! :top:
