Error as bellow:

1. KOMBI:Internal Fault, instrument cluster
2. ABS/DSC: Steering angle sensor, internal

ya, now i'm looking for 2nd,3rd opinion......

do u mean, after replace ur sensor also still got the error? then after recode only the error gone?

Yeap. Only after coding error is gone. :)

UPDATE: i bought the sensor from Bavarian Auto, cost me Rm900. Took it to my mech, get it replaced. But sadly, the error is still there. I'm not sure whether he recode+calibrate it correctly or not as i was not there.
He ask me to take my car to BMW Dealer, which i did yesterday. The tech then told me, my Instrument Cluster got error, replacing+coding the instrument panel could solve all the problem

I think you need to do the adaptation (zeroing) for the angle sensor. It can be done using INPA if I am not mistaken.

bro try do some wheel alignment first..this happened to me and i did wheel alignment n all the faulty gone...

on ECS, these parts is nowhere near the estimated cost that you posted

pressure sensor $110 each (total is $220)

steering angle sensor $220
http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/32306793632/ES260287/

How do you confirm this? What if changing the sensor doesn't fix it? How can all three sensors fail at the same time?

Alignment off may contribute to the error (only DSC error and not handbrake) but a persistent fault means that one of the parts has failed.

i'm waiting for our sifu aidilj to have some free time, by having his expertise hope can confirm what goes wrong and solve it...

Alignment done on a regular interval bro. I'm quite particular on my car alignment...huhu..
as bro wingzee mentioned, the error was persistently there...hope its no permanently forever there..he

Should be free this weekend, let me know..

Thanks Jarance for the 64bit driver=)

Tonight got some free time, i plugged the BMW scanner to my car and get it scanned. Bellow some are the error found.

1. Module ABS

2. Module LEW-Steering Angle Sensor
View attachment 25681

3. Module IKE-Instrument Cluster. (Is it because i played around with the service interval value before this? If not mistaken, before this don have error on this module.)
View attachment 25682

Some other error found.

Any opinion/advice on the above error? I dare not touch the "Reprogramming" button on the module yet....he

Sorry Bro kby88 for my diagnostic machine being all messed up last night. Will look for you again once it is fixed.

AUC sensor is the air cond for sucking outside air sensor, it located at radiator.

Oxygen sensor is the O2 sensor which will cause the fuel consumption.

Center locking system error, it is ur remote sometime cannot use ? or not able to lock and unlock the door ? This may refer to remote receiver (antenna amplifier).

Tumpang abit. I have got error for my AUC sensor too.

IHKA - 20 IHKA AUC heating --- Short circuit to negative --- Currently present
- AUC sensor B6450_00107

Does anyone know what does that means?

Change the AUC sensor.

What would that error caused? Have not felt anything wrong with the AC. Didn't try the heating though.

This AUC sensor or "Stink" Sensor control the ventilation flap of the Aircon.

basically, it detect smelly gas. If you follow a garbage truck and your aircon is in auto mode, the AUC would
detect the "smell" and close the ventilation flap to the outside. This will prevent the smell from coming into the
car. When the smell is gone, it will then reopen and let fresh air into the car.

If the AUC sensor is faulty, the smell will get into the car as the ventilation flap to the outside will always be kept
open.

If the AUC is dirty, it can be clean by changing the filter. If the sensor is shorting or open circuit, then you have to change
it or program the a/c to stay in the "recirculation" mode whenever you start the car.

So happen mine just light up yesterday as well! But it was only the DSC and brake light (both in amber). Happened when I was doing spirited driving on SPRINT with speed around 80 km/h. Both lights came up with a beep but there was no effect on the power or handling. Continue driving to KL & turned off the car. Both lights were gone once I restarted. Was praying it was only a dirty speed sensor was driving through heavy rain yesterday morning.

Both lights remained off this morning when drove to Seremban. Will monitor closely and hope nothing pops up!

I have did some reading and causes of the lights may be due to faulty ABS module/pump, ABS sensor or wheel speed sensor. If the DSC light lighted as well, may be due to DSC module, steering angle sensor. brake pressure sensor or even low brake fluid, with DSC module being the most costly at almost RM3k.

Do send your car for diagnostic to check the root cause.

had the same issue - DSC and hand brake in amber when driving for like 20 or so mins. it sometime reset it self when turning off engine and back on. i run diagnostic and it showed error on pressure sensor 2. did some research on internet and bought myself a DIS scanning software, i performed steering angle sensor recalibration - seemed to work. havent had the error come back so far for 2 days. hopefully permanent fix. 318i E46 2004

Ahh no wonder been facing the issue where foul smell always get into the car when driving.

And I have to set the recirculation mode to be on whenener I start the car or else recirculate or auto won't be on.

In summary, no replacement of the sensor is required and only reprogramming of the a/c to stay in recirculation mode permanently should suffice?

But the thing is, even when recirculation is set to be on, some foul smell is still be able to enter the cabin, which I assume the flap is not entirely closed.

Mine had both the pressure sensor and steering angle sensor error on previously. Upon replacement of the steering angle sensor, recalibrated and reprogrammed plus erase of the pressure sensor error, none have popped up ever since. fingers-crossed!

Yes, The foul smell can still enter the cabin because the foam seal on the ventilation flap is degenerate due to old age. changing it is a hassle so people live with it until they service the aircon which involve dismantling the dashboard.

Update: My problem solved. Got my new steering angle sensor re-coded+re-calibrated. Now i'm back on DSC
