not all workshops are familiar with 335..mostly listed in this forum are for normal or N/A bimmers..there are 3-4 recommended workshops that can do 335 repairs/servicing..but AFAIK only 1 workshop does both repairs n expert in performance upgrades..

SF, my humble opinion and experience would be:

Stage 1: DCAI/Drop In High Flow Air Filter + JB4/Procede/Cobbs (+ upgraded DV)
Stage 2: FMIC + DP + Exhaust
Stage 3: Meth + NoS
Stage 4: Single Turbo (RB or Vishnu FFTEC) ~ 600hp

*between stage 1-2, recommended to upgrade the brakes as well
*between stage 2-3, recommended to upgrade to LSD

Thanx for the heads up and honest opinion. As I value your experience and already at advanced stage, I may replicate with the step that u suggested ...stage 1 would be not much obstable to obtain unless suddenly I acquire exhaust n down pipe before completing the stage 1 ...

Talking about the workshop that really can handle modded 335 .. One of it I believe is Fred's obermaier ... Any other else?

Subscibed...he3.let's tt bros...

here's something for u to consider for ur ride bro; install bms powerbox, high flow intakes, full exhaust system, 3.0L stroker kit or supercharger to unleash more power

some info on this forum that was discussed way back in 2008:
Stock 2.5L N52B25 215hp / 250nm
Stroked 3.0L N52B25 272hp / 315nm
With performance remap +/- 285hp / 328nm

heard there's also a 3.2L stroker kit which gets u 300hp+ :vroam:

Blardy hell. So huge the Stett intercooler. Won't it look like a Lancer VR-4 after installing that? Hahaha

At that size, need to make sure the chip accounts for boost lag

don't worry bro..I can vouch no boost lag at all from the Stett..only more power..try it and u'll believe it :) it does look big, but in actual fact, our stock I/C are too small and these aftermarket fmic snugs nicely behind the bumper n shows off how our 335i turbocharged car suppose to look from the front view

choose the fmic's carefully from a reputable brand that has put lots of time, money n effort into their product design, engineering and proven tests

What if we choose stett all the way from DV, DCAI, FMIC etc.?

depends bro..some brands are better/practical than stett for other products..also if not mistaken, stett doesn't do DV, they do have chargepipes but using Forge DV...if planning to get their fmic, it's probably recommended to get their cp to avoid fitment issues (e.g remove/re-use short hoses/long hoses etc.)..

love the stett CAI design, but not sure about the placement is suitable for our weather..worry it'll suck up water during musim bah..nanti jadi motobot pulak..susah..

Bro SB/wan,

Thanx for the heads up....so you would say better to combine stett Charge pipe with Stett FMiC and Forge DV.....if i plan to acquire complete set of CP + DV from stett ..does it bundle together or i have to source it separately....does the installation fot stett intercooler requires modification on it mounting or hoses?

I agree with you that stett DcAI intake is just undenrneath the bumper not so compatible with our weather...perhaps AFe is better.... What do u think of combination evolution racewerkss product?

the stett cp is bundled together with the forge dv bro..stett fmic comes with all the necessary hoses, clamps n fittings..all plug n plir...all u need now is to click the purchase button..let me know if you're transiting in the US otw back from SA, need to order some stuff as well...
