the last time i went go karting i broke my leg..since then i had a phobia with go karts... i guess i just have to get back on... count me in.

How did u break your leg in go karting?

But I was there last sunday...talked to the boss. I suggest you guys call them and book the date and time first.Start with 80cc kart...its fun.

RM100 is just estimate.. as I paid about that when participated with other car club karting event at Citykarting.

Since you know the boss well, can you help? Maybe Sifu can help up get a good price.

go for casual outing first lah.. no obligation... RM105 can get you 3 x 10mins drives aledi.. And even better value when you buy their 'prepaid' card.. RM150 for 5 x 80cc drives... Works out to be RM30/drive..

sounds like fun. i am keen, but depends on location. if too far, then i'll have to pass.

Raz....gokarting is fun, but can be harmful if due care is not taken. i've personally seen my friend lifting off with the gokart about 6-8 feet in the air, turn upside down and landing on his head/neck. ended up with a broken collar bone. another friend also managed to lift off, but luckily landed right side up. a few more incidents involved drains and kissing dirt. but all escaped relatively unscathed.

kaiza....i feel the pain man. the only way to overcome the phobia is to jump in and drive like no tomorrow

I think you should consult Fabian or maybe the real karting Sifu Julian.
I was at city karting to look see look see.Play once a while....too heavy.always eat pork ma,my big belly always the weight disadvantage.

open wheel karting can be dangerous.. 2 spinning wheels touching can send 1 kart into the air.. Hence, caution is to be applied at all times.. weaving left and right unpredictably is no-no. too many things to write if broken down in details.
Just don't be reckless.
Keep to the racing line, don't change lines at last minute.
While on the straight, take a brief glance to the back (left and right) to check how near is the next kart so that u can take precautionary measure at the next corner. Leave a bit of margin for error.

dont have cold feet....just have some band-aids handy, and most to most, an ambulance on standby hahaha. just kidding.

it all depends on the crowd you're going with. as fabian said above, it all depends on the driving ethics. but sometimes during the heat of the action, the gorilla tends to come out. hahahah. but i think we're ok.....just watch out for kaiza and his legs

Nothing bad will happen to you if you drive ur own pace babe. Just yield( give way) if you notice faster kart coming from behind. Me no expert...just go and have fun.

This will be a race of 8 to 14 laps of 2 sessions and we need about 20 members

The track is 1.3km and fastest record so far is 7 laps @ 10minutes..slowest 4 Laps..

p.s. I did only 4 laps during my last try.. so rest assure you wont be the last..
