Just wondering, is it that hard to refuel each time you reach 1/4 tank? Why wait till empty?

It'll only be hard when you run out of cash, ATM is no where near and every credit card in your wallet limit up, plus you are alone.. :D

So is it hard for you to run out of cash, be somewhere far away from ATM, all credit card limit up and alone?

You tell me.. :p

its a bad habit...and now i will slowly try to change for the better... now the sifu said..empty tank will cause the car to rot faster... which also means,...later resell...cant fetch high price :p

If you don't have the cash, then don't do the dash....... Short on cash once in a while I understand, but it should not be a habit right?

Its bad for your fuel pump actually.

Talking about fuel ... I have a problem with my fuel meter. The meter seems not so consistent, when the car is not moving, will show differet level, when moving different level. Can anyone advise on what's the problem?

Danc,

It's not about short of RM.... sometimes on less travelled road we forgot to fill up in town, and passing thru the one not so regular station thinking there your favorite one is ahead of you... and there you go.... stuck in the middle of nowhere... no phone line summore...

Sounds like a possible fuel float problem?

another question.. how sure those car jockeys, hotel people know how to maneuver the newer beamers?

Jock at your own risk..

Its a case of either you trust others to do the job or you do it yourself.

even at car jockey parking, I park my own...coz if they steal ur car then u will be having a super hard time explaining to the insurance company when u claim...since u pass the key voluntarily...

Hmmnn... u very smart! :top: .. or at least smarter than me.. damn.. must be the DNA, not my fault..

aiyah...my question not answered.

another question..
TECHNICALLY, when the SA delivers your car for the first time..right out from the showroom, TECHNICALLY, the road tax was just obtained and being stuck to the glass. Immediately receiving the car, MOST owners would send it for tint. The tinting ppl will REMOVE the road tax n do the tinting, and since U would want ur car, and do not want to leave overnight before the glue can stick nicely to the screen, ur ROAD tax is being stuck back on. NOW, after a yr, u change ur road tax, and while removing the road tax, when u peel off, u also peel off the tint. Anyone experience the same?

Mine was tint in the AB showroom's delivery bay before placement of the road tax. Has replaced road tax once, no problem.

The "drying" of the tint film has nothing to do with whatever stuck on them, inner surface vs outer surface.

If by removing your road tax, the tint film is peeled off together, that means the tinting workmanship is lousy.

Where u tint your car, please share with us so we can avoid the shop.

Thanks.

another decision to make.. how come my car is worth $192k??. bmw cars depreciate so much huh???

For AB's case, they didn't stick my road tax knowing well that I would be tinting it. Also when removing road tax, always do it from top corner away from the A pillar peeling diagonally downwards. That way the tint will not strip off when the road tax is removed. Changing new car already?
