The problem I'm facing is that my tyre (specifically the left/rear) is rubbing on the fender whenever I carry 2 or more passengers in the backseat. I'm planning to get a new suspension setup in the future, but before that happens (if ever), does anyone know of a reliable place where I can get my rear fenders rolled? eg. proper equipment, experience, workmanship, etc.

im facing the same problem but right rear:stupid:

if im not mistaken ur on 235's at rear, im only on 225's, no way a 235 will fit mine. infact i have to use specific tires, for istance a Continental 225 is to big in shape, so far my rear will fit Sp9000 225 perfectly. could it be faulty suspension? how to tell if my suspension is going kaput? at the moment i feel the car a bit lighter at high speeds, not so tight as usual...

cheers...thx

The recommended tyre size for the rear of my car is actually 245, but I', actually running 225s all round. I do believe my suspension also needs some work since only one side is rubbing. =/

Hey Van1ty,

Try EPS in Sunway. The guy's got a machine which rolls the fender nicely and doesn't require a respray like the conventional knocking way does.

How old is your current suspension setup? Could be absorber leaking oil or springs sagging already. You can try rolling the rear fenders if you haven't already.

I am running 245/40/17 at the rear and no problems at all. So its a suspension issue I believe.

Cheers

Thnx guys. Will look into it once I get back to KL.

loafer: I like the sound of that. =D

hi bro, my springs are about 4 years old on standard shocks(11 years now). should be about time for new ones. But got it all checked, no leaking whatsoever.. only realised when removed the wheel, it was the inner/upper mudguard which is sagging due to broken screws that were holding them, need to get a new one... any comments on price for this item..?

thx sach

I've done mine last week for 245/40/18 at FALKEN tyre shop (sunway) RM100 per side. Quite a good job done.

I did mine via Kean Leong Motorsports (whom are good friends with EPS). I basically left my car at KLM and they asked the EPS guy to bring over the machine. Done it for half the price of what you paid, both sides.
