Factory Lowered Z3

While at the tyre shop, I noticed that there's 2 alignment option for Z3. Standard and Lowered.I didn't know that mine was a factory lowered version. So I drove around and compared ride height and tyre-body gap to another Z3 whenever I see one.It makes life hard to cope with road humps and underground car park with a lowered car.Thus I am thinking of changing the springs and shocks back to standard ones. Has anyone done this before or any advice?

ermm...I think mine's also a factory lowered version..its lower than most Z3's i see on the road so far...
