Hi bro,
I have the M performance exhaust on my 328i, for the 320i/316i you would need to customize the piping to fit the larger outlet on the M performance exhaust + enable the electronic valve manually.

Thank you bro maroonbug for the info. Wonder who has F30 320i installed with M-perf. exhaust, Remus or Eisenmann and could share their experiences :hmmmm2:

Anyone here has tried custom exhaust build? Also what diameter size is the M-performance as well as the aftermarket brands? 3" piping?

For 320i with 328i Exhaust, Bro Vyner has already done it. My personal review of it. Not much diff in the car. But when it overtakes you, have a much more agressive note. (Y)

For 320i with MPerformance Exhaust, Bro Newton has already done it. My personal review of it. You can hear the muffled growl of the exhaust from inside the car. When you open the windows and overtaking, the sound is excellent (Y). Very smooth roar. As expected of the M performance. I would dare say, about the same as installed on a 328i

For 320i with Remus Quad, Bro Akhie has already done it. My personal review of it. Very quiet inside the car, can barely hear it. With the windows open and during over taking, excellent growl. Even has the exhaust gurgle during gear change.

For 320i with Remus Twin, wait a month or so. Bro Alvin going to install it :p

Bro Akhie,

Can you share with me when you fitted the Remus quad, did you change the entire bumper of cut the original bumper to accomodate those quads?

Bro akhie, not very active in the forums already. Would be better if you joined us in our Facebook page and posted your questions there.

Anyways. He re-use the original bumper, the installer has a template to cut the bumper to nicely fit the exhausts.

i guess no one has done Remus on 320d yet :(

Frankly speaking. So far, all the exhaust notes I heard. The symphony only starts after 4, 500 RPM.

Which leaves the diesel with a 500 RPM range whilst the petrol heads get it till 6 800 for the 320i and 7 100 for the 328i

Not sure if the diesel will have a different range :(

Can't achieve a nice growl from a diesel car unfortunately. Tried that with the M performance exhaust and heard the JETEX 3" setup. Can't hear it sadly :(

Will probably go for a custom setup, still searching for a stage 2 map for a cat delete and O2 sensor removal for the downpipe but haven't found one yet.

Sad news for the diesel boys...We are seeking for the gurgle/drone from those aftermarket exhausts to drown out our diesel clatter

Pump Euro4 diesel and your engine will clatter less. Just came back from Bangkok and damn, the diesel trucks and cars there are so quiet!
