He did not mean 2009/2010... 09/2010 means September 2010 build date. BMW sort of updates their cars every 6 months... in 03 and 09 months.

My F10 is considered an 09/10 configuration. I have combox (6VC), but not the new BMW Apps features. 03/11 has the BMW Apps stuff (6NR), the music player screen is slightly different, for example cover art can be displayed much bigger in the split screen on the right.... see image below.

I have an F10 which I picked up in Oct. Did you have any probs with yours when connecting to Teleservices? They can't figure out the problem until now. Keep telling them they forgot to include the + sign when programming the Teleservices number, but they refuse to listen and think it's something else. Do you think it's possible to download these services as time progresses or are we stuck with whatever we have, forever, unless we replace the whole system? Ingress has been very unhelpful. Thx

6nr apps

Does anyone know if the F10 in Malaysia is equipped with the 6NR web apps option? My ride was delivered in July. Managed to get a colleague to download the connected app application from his US itunes account. Tried to connect to the idrive via the apple usb cable but it does not seem to be able to connect. Just wanted to explore the web radio, facebook and twitter functions on idrive.

don't know bout the MINIs, but i can confirm we don't get 6NR here from BMW Msia

my f10 is a march 2011 and has 6NF

asked the dealer about a 6NR retrofit; no one could give me a definite answer.. even took them awhile to find out what 6NR was..
they don't know if it will be included later as well

6NR enabled cars will show "ConnectedDrive" in place of "BMW Services" in iDrive if i'm not mistaken..

coolest feature that we're missing out on imo is the ability to play video from an iphone/ipod and the native apple menu on the idrive screen!

Apparently they communicated with the folks in Singapore, they are willing to support if a shop in Malaysia can take up the job; with them assisting remotely.
