F10 520d front wheel axle

Hi, jus got my 520d and find out that the front wheel axle(suspension area) was not fully covered,And some wiring and electronics components part was explored. Is that normal? Or some cover or anything is missing? Hope to get some feedback from the gurus. Many thanks.

i think the electronic component could be brake sensor.
