Engine won't start up!!!!

Hi SifuNeed urgent advice. Today just got this problem, the engine revs for couple of min then died down - seem no fule is flowing through - my early guess was fuel pump. Then ask a mechanic - said may be the fuel pump too. FYI, the battery is only 6 month old.If the fuel pump, then what the price like & where can I source it?Thanks in advanceSelamat Hari Raya MZB

bro....sure fuel pump?maybe crank and cam position sensor.....known issues about engine bad idle and dying after starting.......check actual fuel availability in the fuel rail.....press the valve at the end of the rail (like the one on the tyres to fill air)and see got good fuel pressure(fuel shud be pissing out).if not then possible pump issue.
then check the resistance of both sensors....value? i donno la////check the net sure got wan....

where's the valve located on the fuel rail? If press means, won't the fuel just spill into the cylinder?....how to see if pissing out then. correct me if i'm wrong bro. cheers.

Dear Moots, not sure about (may dont know what you mean) but my fuel tank is till half full. Heard about crank sensor all of that but do not know to check it on my own....Just got back from raya holiday...may be need to call a mechanic to check for me at house then...

Bro Paul Tan had a similar problem a few weeks ago, car starting and then dying. Turns out actually his fuel level sensor is faulty, the instrument cluster is showing half tank while actually the fuel in the tank is empty.

Just to make you aware of the possibilities.
