Hi BMW E60 member, i planning to buy a second hand E60 523i, Do u mind to share , if there's any issues about this car and maintenance cost? which parts need to change after purchase? what are the main concerns only for weekend drive. appreciate you can share your experience. Thanks Thanks

Hello bro,

As a rule of thumb, once you get the car, check for leaks under the carriage, and zoom in to the parts that has oil stains. then, change all fluids (engine oil, transmission oil, coolant, brake oil). While its up on the hoist, check all bushings, tierods and arms, suspensions.

Best to buy the car off a direct seller or owner, and ask for full maintenance records/receipts, so u know what has been done to the car, and what to be done next.
