E60 525i Japan Spec 06

Hi all sifu, just got rid of my 318i and changed to a new 525i Jap spec 06 high line with new engine + push start. Below few questions to ask:1. There is a phone dock in the car. Anybody know what brand and model I should look for? Would like to get the phone n plug it in, dun like keep the dock empty......2. The radio system, Japan spec mah, different from Msia spec. Can change back to the Msia one with proper FM? How much? I added a boaster to strengthen radio signal but not good still.3. The power is good but just for consideration, anything should do to improve performance?4. I dun like the M5 bodykit, any cool bodykit to recommend? Please include price n workshop pls, thanks.That's all I can think of now but would appreciate if you want to add some advice. Thanks a lot!!!!

5. This could be a stupid question, how to set memory for car seat? I pressed the M then 1 trying to set passenger 1 but it is not working......

talking bout the salesman..... I told him my 3 series tyres are filled with Nitrogen and he doesn't know what is tat, so I dun really expect to get much info from him.....

I will try to answer your Question #3 and #4...
For more power, there are a lot of options out there to choose from... for starter you can consider to remap your ECU which will give improvement of 8-10% on horsepower and better fuel efficiency. Yours should be N52 engine and therefore, the remap will cost in the region of RM3k to 4k depending on which workshop that you go to... try Exotic Mods or N1 Racing. Google them and you will find their contact number...

For bodykit, go for M-Sport bodykit with option of Hamann or Hartge add-ons (front lips, side skirt and rear diffuser). After that, consider to switch to quad exhaust... I'm using Remus quad exhaust which sounds oh-so-good. This exhaust system reduce backpressure associated with slower pickup (so you have better pick-up lo )

Bro, itell u no need waste yr time to find it coz the 525i jpc spec car in japan is using the 2G phone is NO need sim card put inside the phone so u no need to find it, if u can find it in jpc n bring to malaysia also no point coz is anolog phone (2G), so cant accept in malaysia.

I have the same car as yours, E60 2006 Japan Spec. For me i just chop of the phone wire and take out the holder. Thus i get a bigger space to put my things. No point using the phone la, now we got h/p already.

Hmm... good suggestion, I found that this car has no room for my stuff and I have more compartments in my 3 series than this "bigger" car......

BMW E60 from September 2005 onwards are N52 (also called Magnesium engine by resellers) which churns out 218bhp compared to old M54 (192bhp). Yours is 2006 so definitely N52 (FYI... my E60 Japanese spec 2005 is also N52 :top
