E46 with or with Steptronic Differences

Hi Sifu,I like to check with all the sifu.... What is the diff between a 1999 E46 and a 2000 E46?What i know is the steptronic Gear box.... anything else?Which is better?ThanksKelvin

The autobox is sluggish, even in a 328. Streptronic = quick response. I'm not aware of any other differences.

Steptronic have extra actuators to shift the gears and it may fail over time.... also it is more expensive to repair compare to the old 4 or 5 speed gearbox ..about RM5000 extra
