E46 -- rattling sound on windows

i still not sure my miko is making the sound from her 3rd brake light

or from her trunk carpet

cos i didnt load anything into her boot trunk

I think it is unlikely that your trunk carpet is making the noise. The trunk is well insulated plus the carpet is a soft material.

Maybe it is the car jack not screwed in properly. Last time I had some sound from the back that is caused by loose car jack.

One cause, I have found out, is the back seats...because they are split-fold down type they tend to squeek now and then.

yes i sat in one of my buddy japs spec which rear seat is foldable

but to us that non foldable

Nope..manufactured 2002 Jap specs...I almost bought but prefer the 320ci which was not available..ended up buying a Z3 but swap 323i after 2 months s Z3 under power
