Hi , my E46 320i yr 2000 (recond) bought last year. After 6 months - I spend nearly RM7,000 for repaired. Now , new problem - Front Lower Arm + Lower Arm Bush . Any idea how much for that parts ?

Yo guys,

further to my cars vibrating problem (which was posted under the thread "engine vibrating") took my car to Dr Ah Meng in Subang Jaya Medical Centre for BMW's (M Speed) and here are the parts changed:-

1. Adjuster unit and labour: RM630
2. Engine mounting and labour : RM420
3. Gearbox mounting: RM90
4. Some seal near the gearbox (due to leaking) RM25

My first visit to Dr Meng. Quiet happy with the service......as had 4 guys including him attending to my car.........maybe it was a weekday...........not too sure with pricing though..........

next need to be done are the follows:-

Gearbox oil and oil cooler
Batery.....now abt 6 years already not yet change......

thats abt it for now............

Aiiya ... might end up like you also coz now my airbag light in on....!!!!!

aiyaa guys....just move on lah...why want to spend thousands for it...we kinda get use to drive cars without airbag mah....right?...proton, etc...

Latest cost impact to fixed my transmission:

1. Change clutch plate - RM 1,450.00

2. Change Accuator - RM 4,600.00

3. Transmission oil - RM 800.00

4. Labor - RM 600.00 approximate

5. various - RM 500.00 approximate

so guys those who are driving with SMG, this is the cost to replace your plate and BMW recommend that when u change your clutch u need to change accuator, too. Good thing- all come with 2 years warranty. I had check with BM auto, they are more expensive and warranty is only 1 year and applicable to the accuator only. to me, BMW means banyak mintak wang... what to do......if u drive one then make sure u can maintain it, too.

highly recomemend to change at AB coz changes going wrong slim, if go wrong..........no worries as warranty applies evn it is a wear and tear components.

I've changed mine recently....
1 pair lower arm -RM1200
1 pair lower arm bush -Rm 450

yesterday suddenly radio and cd changer not function and air bag light on.thought to fork up few k again to repair..go to mspeed usj find kenny..he check for 10 minute then say small problem..suiz rosak only.change suiz below streering and everything settle.less than 300 problem solve.

noticed that he got some promotion for e46.

Hi All, just want to share my power steering repair cost at stuttgart last month.

Hi all,
Sharing my repair cost this month after radiator gave way.

car 346 325i, year 2001, mileage 85k

labour for oil service rm45
labour for radiator repair rm 150
oil filter rm42
oil sump sensor rm650
enginer oil rm 396
radiator rm 1,150 ouch!!!
thermostat rm195
top hose rm125
coolant rm 28

total rm 2770.75!!! ouch!

I was told my radiator is original BMW germany hence the cost. I saw a posting on a 323i radiator costing rm660. any difference?

I started to agree. BMW is Banyak Makan Wang.

jerking when moving from stand still. power also kurang. gearbox in good conditon and it is best that u detect early. also when gear changes during cruise mode not smooth. after clutch replaced, good power and gear changing also smooth. AB did a good job.
