Is it all e39 new absorbers are soft at the beginning ? Need to pump for few times then only can use ? Or is it hard until you not able to push down by hand?

the e39 dampers are gas filled and i was able to push it down by hand(before fittment to the car that is).no need to pump pump la.just plug and play...then you can pump as much as you desire....

tweeiboon.. that is the nature of twintube struts. if you try monotube lik some of the higher end bilstein and titan.. then it is dampening on demand... always ready to charge..

by the way.. if any of your abs are hard to pump by hand.. u will have bruised butts when u install it..

bmw chassis is built so tight and solid that it doesnt tweak much therefore all the movement is in the abs.. it is quite soft compared to similiar sized car of japanese make..
