correct Bro, i always DIY if not all the mechanic out there will con you, i went to my mechanic, he said switch fault, then he ordered chop shop switch still no go. He then said i dunno what is the problem then fixed back my old switch and went to work on other cars, useless fella. I gave him a piece of my mind and left.

That true am also like to diy if time permits...
So need really sincere mech for our udm right...:thumbup:

Yeah man. Time is always a factor in our daily life, talking about sincere mechanic, we only can know from our experience with them. Guess we must always go for 2nd opinion when comes to serious issues cause different mechanic gives different answers.

Since own tis udm have been to 2 mech but at the end stick to 1 tat am fine wit him...after all am a tehnical guy in profession hehe...

The 1st thing after collecting my udm straight away do the eng cooling system after all tis is not a new car right...almost 13yrs....

Since tat coolant level always have to top up every 2-3 days of driving...
So found out the heater inlet n outlet pipe almost time to give way...
Sign of leakage at the connection to cylinder block...
And also my thermostate housing sign of leakage...
Expanssion tank the float/stick already sink to the bottom does not come up any more...
Replace all parts stated now my cooling system tip top condition...:rock:

Nice job, yeah cooling is vital for our engines cause they run hot, plus our weather is damn freaking hot too. If we don't maintain the cooling system then the engine get fried.

For top overhaul alone the top set is almost rm600 - rm1k hehehe...
