Spoke to some guys who own the E34, they told me that if not happy with gear changes, need to get the synchronising done and walla, it should be ok. Any of you guys had this experience and if so who can I see. Thanks guys By the way mine is a 525i Auto(1990)

hard reset
perhaps what he means is doing a hard reset ie disconnecting the battery and shorting both leads (car side) for the ecu to re-learn the gear changes according to the current owner style of driving?
the mat salleh sites have done this and felt a difference..........
