3er,

you sure you're driving fast enough?
(Which rims are you using?)

John,

Sure, Chinas' NEW roads are great, but let's not forget that the vast majority of the roads are still muddy ruts at best.
The Necessary, I can't agree more but the comparison in this instance referred to city roads and even in bangsar, where we stay, the road conditions are deplorable. Thankfully, some stretches has recently been repaired but it was looooooong overdue.

My 2 cents........Stefan, if we insult your intellligence and come across as rude an uncouth, please, for the love of god remove our URL from your bookmarks!
Kevster, as a VP of this club, IMHO, your call for stefan to remove the club URL from his bookmark is unbecoming of a person who hold this position.
The next you would be calling for a ban on me for posting this comment. This thread should be confined to the persons who have personal experience with an M3 on daily basis.
The necess might find that his M3 is getting a bit boring and on the other hand stefan find that there is more thing that a M3 can offered that "the necc" might or not be aware of.

Just like any udm of any model, there are some hidden "jewel" that can be tapped or found. We join this forum to find this hidden jewel.

FYI, a M3 is just only my dream car and I would not be able to own it in my lifetime. For those who have the previledge to own it, please share your experience and passion with us. We can only dream.

The necess, Sorry for the off topic. I can see people are taking about potholes in KL which have nothing to do with M3 but then......

Juan,

I would love to give you a ride in the M, but I do hope you're ready for a little Sunday afternoon cruise 'round Sepang, cos I have no intentions whatsoever to push the car.

As I've already mentioned privately to a couple of members/friends, this track day trip's more "spiritual" than anything else; ie. Sepang, meet Martha (that's what I call my M3), Martha, meet Sepang.

Yes, I'm a skill-less wuss (that's for you "Stefan Roiser", if you're still sad enough to be lurking).

Also, considering how compromised the M3 is on track (ie. inadequet brakes, road alignment), I'm not thinking of doing any much more than 12 laps. Ie. 3 four lap stints.

hey hey necc....

cool .. can i have a ride to in martha ... would love tah ..

see u at sepang mate

cheers

offtopic : p/s was your car at MP last thursday or something ???

If the M3 is Martha, then the E34 would have to be Bertha, and a big one at that.

If you read all the car reviews, the enthuthiasts always moan about all the electronics that go into modern sports car. But if you are Mercedes or BMW, you know that 99% of your buyers of SL55, M3 etc can't drive for s.hit (not that I can, but I am not a buyer of SL55, M3 :p). So obviously it makes commercial sense to cater for these people and make 600bhp driveable.

Necc, if you drive slowly I will try to follow you from behind. I'm not a good driver. :) Alvin, want to convoy at snail pace?

Walrus Lord sez he'll pick me up... Not bringing my car in this time ler. Too kiam siap on the tyres LOL.

Eh, Mr. E46F... what do you think this is for there to be car-pooling? a picnic? you bringing any apples and strawberries (if you do, may I have their number please, hehe!). I hope you can bring your car at least for the convoy since it's gonna be big with italiaauto also. Let's make it a helluva convoy, then we use walrus_lord's car in the track lorrr... :p
