DIY angel eye for e36

some one told me thai we can actually do a DIY angel eye for e36, no need to pay 600 for the LOTR rings la. how ah

But for my experienced, payin' RM600 will get XENON type of Angel eye and it'll visible in day time. Sadly the DIY Angel eye type just use the normal small bulb or led, so it can't be seen in day time. But its still worth to get a try, coz its damn cheap.

It's not easy to bend that polycarbonate rod though.... (I think that's the name of the material)..

Jarance got his version of the angel too... u shud ask him to make one for u....

seriously, the ccfl is still the best of the lot.

my angel eye is actually a savage parts from a hella angel eye.

willie have done his diy. I will give you the link latter after I dig my file.

Are you into diy. it a lot harder than what people think.
I have make my own angel eye.

1. LED type using acrylic rod.
2. multiple led - the rotating type (running).
3. using flexible fluorescent tube or EL wire (electro luminescene).
4. using lumiled.
5. ccfl - using computer parts

All are prototype but finally fixed to lumiled (hella)

Wow! there! that's wat i wanna say. My previous mentioned was these exactly. No worry of doing these by yourself. Its simple as 123...ABC...

About wiring, i think you'll need to extend a wire from your low beam. But i don't encourage you do wire the whole by your self, better look for a help from machanic or experts.

just tap the power from the pilot light in the high beam. The wire should be brown or yellow.
