go by stages 1st in acordance to ur priority.its easier tht way.

if its ur everyday ride as is mine,thn go for engine upgrade/swap 1st. while ur engine is being done up,send the shell to my mates shop to be worked on!
all in it shouldnt take long to do!

using the auto half cut isn't a big problem

you can try n strike a deal with cutshop for the other stuff to trade in
1. pedal set
2. manual tranny with clutch set
3. clutch pumps and hoses
4. .........etc,etc,etc

there was a tread here sumwhere about parts needed

to do the engine plus derusting and ready for end july is abit rushing, think de-rust will take 2-3 weeks, engine another 2-3 weeks depending on mech free time and competance, and parts avail for immediate conversion

Around 6K u can get a hartge 2.7 half cut already why need to go UK buy back ?? not cheap la 15K .... can buy another e30 already....

Or u can put in M50 engine around 8K, newer model & the parts also easier to get...

we all here can always help u source out the parts & problems for you dude......no worries...

If you can find me a hartge 2.7 half cut for 6k right now i'll buy it on the spot, seriously!

15k is how much i bought my current car over here, i'm saying that that's a ridiculous price in Europe, you can buy a working E30 for 3k Euros (and that being one that is in good condition).
