yup , 318 is not that bad ..been living with it for past 5 years &
still my daily drive .
just have to be humble at the traffic lights & let all the souped
up wiralutions , SLKs ( small little kancil ) go first....he he he he

use a 2.8/2.5 fuel pump and you'll never see those SLK's go first ... :)

more higer cc fp has got got higher suction rate thus ease the pick up due to more fuel is being burned out ...the 4 potter fuel pump has got low suction rate OR i would say limited band for fuel saving purposes and that is why some of the 4 potter aren't able to keep up to 200KM/h ..

my m40 use to hit 210 ish ....

a secret i'm sharing after a long time being driving an m40 myself ....

hmmmm, now the cat is out of the bag...ha ha ha ...will consider that when my fuel pump konks out ( not that i am praying for it ! )

How is fuel consumption affected when using a 325/328 fuel pump? Very interesting :top:

Hi zaimhq

I'm currently looking to sell my E36 325i.
Its a rare M-sport version brought in by AB, with an ORIGINAL manual stick (with M-tech seats etc.)
The car is pretty tip-top with all wear & tears replaced.
Currently looking for an E90 or E46+bike & that's why I'm thinking of letting this go... =(

I'm not desperate, but kindly drop me a PM if you're interested.
The car is in gun metal, and has 190k on it.
Yr made '95 - with XXX 3251 plate.

Cheers,
J

My experience of driving the 318 E36 & 325 E30. Yes the power make a lot difference but the 318 is damn robust. So it basically depands on each and one's need.

Been driving a 318 M40 for 10 years and decided its time to upgrade it to 325i with a M52B25 engine. The result i will never wanna switch my ride for anything unless its a 328 :p
