I plan to buy a 530 japan spec 03 model and was quoted rm288k for it. Any idea how much problems I will be facing if i proceed to buy this unit? How abt the engine, is it also old model engine compared to the perhap 2005 onward model? I call ab and ask if they would service rekon unit n the reply was a yes but have to register the unit with hq 1st. I also heard that BMW's car wont want to start if i fail to do the regular servicing at the the specific interval,is this true?

AB can service recon cars? Is this really true?

Yes it can. I called a branch (Kuantan Jln Teluk Sisik) and ask if I would be able to service a rekon unit there and she said yes but one have to register 1st and the process will take few days and u have to bring some documents including the AP, and they will submit it to hq for the registration process but I'm not sure which hq she was referring to..either malaysia or one in the germany there
