The bmw coating is the paint protection sealant.

There are plenty of paint protection sealant about, so again back to my question, what do you want to coat your BMW with?

Teflon, Silica, Glass, 3M Clear Film?

All the above provides your paint with protection but each of them above protect against different things.

Under the previous bmw white card program, there was a paint protection program. I think this is what the TS was referring to. I used it before and found it to be superb.

The only thing that offers somewhat close to that under the white card would be the coating from Autodetailer which I know for a fact that their work is indeed superb and top notch. Also, they offer a clear film protective setup as well as you can see in their Facebook page and that tends to protect the car from stone chips a lot better than the standard paint coat.

There is he coating by PPS located in Sunway. Google PPS ( paint protection system). I heard of them first and they seemed to be one of the earliest providers for paint protection system since 2009. They require an annual touch up once you applied the PPS coat. They may have new coats but that is what I remember asking them last time.

Another alternative is Sierra Glow, the shop is at USJ1. It uses Blue Flame to "burn" the silica as a paint protection system. They offer 5 years warranty and I am using it in my current ride as they sponsored it.

Another brand is Permanon coat protection, I know Waxson at Aman Suria or Kota Damansara offers the Permanon coating.

A famous glass coat brand is Gzox. They have several branches, one located at Sunway among the car workshops, same row as Hup Shun tyres, kaki motor and Everco exhaust. Or you can also go to the branch at Petronas in Sri Hartamas, they have a shop there in the Petronas.

Also not to forget the club vendor, Autodetailen, run by KC, his shop also offers the Alien coating which offers paint protection system.

Prices for all the brands above vary, some offer a 5-year warranty and some require annual touch up.

Now if you want to wrap the front of your car with clear film to prevent stone chips then Motorsport Playground in Sunway offer that service as well as a shop called Getto in Equine Park Sri Kembangan.

But these are not the bmw coating that TS and myself are looking for.

I have been trying every other coating and non matches the one i did with autodetailer years ago. The detailing work and coating lasted years and hundreds of washes... and looked like new.

Well since you and TS already know where is the best, you should stick to Autodetailer then
