Hi, beside ceramic pro, where i could get a best price for car coating?
I normally go to the car care centres at shopping mall carparks. They give quite competitive rates and good service too.

I recently check with ceramic pro silver package, price increase to 2799. Is it worth for apply?

its been a long time since i added any new updates on this thread. Wolfchan, for you i will post a photo of my car lepas mandi over the weekend. Then you can see if its worth it as mine has been coated about 3 years ago (if i am not wrong). To me the shine still maintains even after 3 years.

It is worth to apply a ceramic coating as it maintains the shines and provides protection against bird droppings, light scratches and prevent stainning of the paint from external elements. As mentioned in my previous post, i chose Ceramic Pro because they offer a recoat of a certain panel in the event your ride has unfortunate bump. They do it for free! yes....free!

Now if you really want to protect the paint of your car, the Paint Protection Film (PPF) from their Magnus Pro range is great to prevent issues like stone chips, scractches etc. I would have done this if it was available at the time of coating with them.

From my experience, their after sales service has been great. Ultimately, decision is yours.

Another day another shinny ride!\

Regards,
Danny

Hi Danny,
Thanks for your update. For tinted, do you have any advise? My wife prefer to have more privacy, but I don't to block by police and I use GPS in car.

Thanks in advance.

Wolfchan,

For tinting I did mine in Melaka. Hence,it will be out of the way. Do get the security tint for your wife.

Just a short update on the Ceramic Pro coating. Parked under a tree and came back to a bonnet covered in sticky tree sap or what ever you may call it. Took a 2 hour drive with it.

When to car wash, thanks to the coating, the car wash dude just use water jet to spray it off. No efforts needed to wash it off with soap. Still impressed with Ceramic Pro coating.

Refer to before (with sticky stains) and after (cleaned) photos.

Another day another DANNY's RECOMMENDATION!

Hey Danny,

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for continuing your updates. I chose Ceramic Pro mainly because of your review. (they really should consider giving you some commisions)

Regards
Jansen

I too chose Ceramic pro because of the good comment here. but I would like to share my disappointment that within half a year, my car has developed water mark, despite having on average weekly washing by external car wash as recommended. I have no time to bring my car back to Ceramic pro as yet.

P/S: I took the silver package, and my car is always under shelter.

I wonder how that could last the 5 years warranty!

Can Share some pictures? I'm curious to see. As I'm not particular about my car.. I rarely have time to wash it. maybe once in 2-3 weeks, so naturally my expectations of dirt/srapes and watermarks etc. are much lower.

because some coating product need return for maintenance / re-coat every 3 - 4 months. else you get watermark on your car surface.

or they will give you 1 waxing product for wax after every wash. (but if you wax every wash, why you go for coating ?)

Dear EL118,

Sorry for my delayed reply as been busy. I am also sorry to hear about your water mark issue even though your car is always under shelter. So far, i don't seem to have any water marks on my car even though i sent my car for wash only every 2 weeks. Maybe, my car is white hence if there are water marks its hard to detect. Is your car a dark color unit by any chance?

If you are talking about water mark cause by water droplets after it dries up, i have those but they are easily washed away with my normal car wash. But if you are talking about permanent marks caused by dried up water droplets then attached itself to the paint and can't be removed by normal car wash, i suggest you send in your car back to Ceramic Pro for them to remove it.

I do hope you get it sorted out. Cheers!

For Ceramic Coating, they claim no need periodic maintenance and they are not providing that. just require u to wash weekly (no wax)

The water mark appeared within 6 mths after coating despite regular wash.
