saw this on china press newspaper today (i dont read chinese but like going through the pictures in chinese newspapers)...not sure why not reported in the star. pretty sure its a BMW 5-series in an apparent fatal accident. can someone who read chinese translate this?

my goodness, at what speed was he doing ?

for the engine and suspension to come apart is very bad accident..

1. 1st accident bimmer & myvi.
2. bimmer driver-chinese male, myvi driver-malay male,passenger-malay female
3. myvi driver died
4. a chinese driver passing & trying to help the bimmer driver
5. 2nd accident japanese waja driver hit bimmer & injured the chinese who is helping
6. both bimmer & myvi survivor were badly injured

Accident happened on Saturday 1am on 130km PLUS, near Butterworth. Myvi driver has RM3000 cash and some Thai Baht in his wallet.

I believe the BMW components are designed to break off during impact just like a F1 car because impact forces are transfered/diverted away from the passenger cabin.

how the accident happened and who's fault remains uncertain... but usual highway accidents are result of excessive speed, stationary vehicles, wet roads, poor lighting & stupid drivers changing lanes without notice
