Charity Drive for Good Samaritan Home (VAN PURCHASE)

Time flies and more than a year has passed since we visited this orphanage home. Some has sponsored some kids' pre school expenses after the last visit and a few of us are planning to pay them a visit on Xmas day itself and do our bit to the less fortunate ones. Anyway it's good to spend some time with the kids and see how they are doing after a year. I remember the last time a few were sharing transformer stories with some of us, this time could be Harry Potter

bundy, the club has RM480 to spare, carried forward from last year being some auction proceed from one of our member, meant for charity spending, it remain a "payable" in the club's a/c. I couldn't make it to the Christmas visit, please advise on how to get the money to u. Cash or cheque also no problem, I need a receipt though.. for the file. Can also pay first then club reimburse.

Just concluded. The look on the childrens' face says it all. They were so pleased and happy to see us. The home was also given a tidy sum in donation. Great work BMWCM. We need to support the less fortunate more. This home is pretty well run. There are others in a deplorable state. Nonetheless, it was a great way to spend Christmas morning.
