sweet shinny ride bro. Another day another drive! As for the photos, will post it soon. Have misplaced the photos. Sorry ya!

Silverbullet
I was in the same dilemma as you. Why spent money on coating when you can save it for a repaint, plastic dip or even plastic wrap? I decided to do the ceramic pro coating after I notice tar spots appearing near te wheel arches. It was also difficult to remove via car wash. Clay bar needed. Mine is an Alpine White, the tar spots even more noticeable.

Ceramic pro gave assurance that tar n bird dropping will not stick making it easier to maintain the car. Also, the glass coating is to maintain the original paint and provide the gloss. I like my ride to be shinny . After coating, it's true that it's easier to wash off all the dirts. Just spray water and the bird droppings floats away with the water.

Summary is this, watch their video. It's very informative. One thing the video don't tell you is this, the ceramic coating does not protect your paint from stone chips. For stone chip protection, clear plastic wrap is certainly the way to go but this is very expensive.

I took ceramic pro because I wanted the easy maintenance feature while getting some degree of protection. The choice is yours. Another day, another drive.
Thanks for your info and feedback bro. Howabout scratches? How resistant is Ceramic Pro's coating, say against our fingernails (especially near the door handle) and worst case key scratches?

Silver bullet, so far so good. No scratches but I got my car in Dec 2014. Ceramic pro video on website will show it's scratch resistant feature.

Water test after coated with ceramic pro...who needs Rain-X after this...

Cool stuff...

Services offered by ceramic pro Malaysia...would love to get the full body coating, headlamps coating, interior rubber & leather coating...guess need to work harder farming my money tree

One question... After getting the ceramic pro treatment.. Can I still bring my car to get 3M film on my car especially front bumper, bonnet, head lamp, front fender and side mirror? This is because the place which I'm based in is full of lorries carrying log, timber, stones and even iron ore...
Does it void any warranty?

Thule,

I am guessing it should be ok as the plastic layer will be protecting the ceramic pro layer and your paint. However, I do not work for them. Better you check with them.

Thule,

Contact Darren from Ceramic pro at : +603 5612 9777 . Friendly guy with a white Mazda CX5. Happy coating.

Bro SilverBullet,
It cost me less than rm3000 including the interior (leather + plastic coating). Why I choose CeramicPro cuz the proof in YouTube. After watch all their videos, no doubt that it's better than GGuard (IMHO). The cost also slightly cheaper. Win for me.

Welcome to the ceramic pro family. Keep the shine! But bro.... car like yours should go platinum. Hahahaha.

YF - Can you share the car coating condition now pls?
Still no sign of water marks at all after several mths?
I did mine last Nov in Gtechniq and now it's water mark everywhere although they claimed that the coating should last for 2 years.
Will bring the car back for them to checks the coating layer which I believe already gone.
Note - I paid RM1K only for the 2 years coating warranty after some discounts from them in the road show.

Car dirty now, have to send it for a bath. I have not done inspection for a long time. I shall report back tomorrow. Cheers!

Keep us posted bro... really wonder can such coating last up to few years as they claimed - no water mark!
