Cd reads - NO DISC

Hi Guys,. I'm currently facing this problem, My cd reads - No Discs at CD mode. Any Idea wt could be the problem, Unless the whole CD changer "KAPUT"? Any best way to find out, or someone who can check it? ThxRgds,SureshBMW 520ie39 1997

not only u sir..mine cannot use the tuner..the signal lost..nothing can do..but change your player..i have change mine first hand 1,500rm..get half cut one..600rm

By chance where, did you get the half cut one?

it could be as simple as the laser pickup head needs cleaning.
